I think it's crucial that mental health needs to be made more aware within society. Even the minutest of mental health needs to be diagnosed. However, like myself, I do hide or lock my emotions. The inferior symptom I get is emotional numbness. A disconnection. Once, I go into this so called state, I don't feel anger, sadness, even pain. It's complete hell.
Over the past several weeks, I really have tried to increase my social activities, getting the capability to interact with others. It is important to connect with family, friends, even co-workers, and management to acknowledge mental health.
The saying, "You never know what happens behind closed doors," is really important, especially if being at work, college, or school, it's imperative to be calm, kind, professional, as others may be having mental health or other troubles. Cause and effect comes into play as whatever happens in a professional environment possibly has severe consequences.
Remember be kind.
